Your style set you apart from the rest. No one else, in my opinion, put so much detail in the cat's fur and the texture and the background. You won because while you didn't focus on my recommendations for patterning and colors to the T, you did such a good job with details and other things, I had to choose you.
In 2nd place, there is a tie! I simply couldn't choose between mkitten and The Sinister Blade. You'll both get the 2nd place prize!
mkitten (sephy <3) Your work was simply marvelous, as always. Clean lines, good concept, and followed my recommendations. The attention to details in the collar and bell and other various things was amazing.
The Sinister Blade. The polish and cleanness in your lines was wonderful and I loved the "dulled" down effect of the picture. The eyes of the cat were great. You followed my hints brilliantly.

I loved the pattern you made. The cat was a bit too dark, and some details were lost, but overall, you did a clean and neat job.

While I loved the kitty, the background took a little away from it, as the cat seemed so dark and detailed while the background was much simpler. The kitty was excellent though
