For those non-Italian speaking humans out there, that means "the lion of St. Mark." It's really Primo the Smilodon from the book Lionboy. Well, the second one. He's on the boat of the Doge of Venice who is really trying to kidnap him and his friend who is a Catspeaker named Charlie who is helping some circus lions escape to Moracco and rescue his parents who the Corporacy and some guy named Rafi Sadler have stolen and are brainwashing because of the Allergenies and Edward and King Boris of Bulgaria and Mabel Stark turns out to be Charlie's aunt and Sergei is an Allergeny but the lions don't care and Charlie isn't allergic to him. Anyways, it's a good book.
