I wondered what the cat was chasing. Then I realised it was a dizzy pup. Pyro snatched the dizzy pup and I grabbed the cat. We carried them both inside and the cat instantly crawled over to lick the dizzy pup. They looked frantic. Suddenly, a huge bark echoed through the alley and there stood a huge pitbull. It's mouth foamed furiously and it's eyes blazed. I stood up to it, easily bigger, but it stood it's ground. I charged at it, growling, Fluffy snarling, Pyro shrieking, Pongo hissing. We all bit it and it howled with fury. It lunged for my neck and I prepared for the snap. It never came. I looked up to see that Pongo had taken my place. But already his fangs had locked onto the monster's neck. They both fell with a hard thud. Pyro, Fluffy and I looked back to see where Pongo had been was now a scaled stump. I padded sadly to the dizzy pup. "Never trust a dog." Fluffy growled to the pup. I looked up to the twilight horizon. "Never, Twilla, never." I repeated without turning away.
