aw, it has some symbolism to me! the buck is blurry, and thus, shows the disappearance of what is treasured on this world. when one is hunted, they disappear further from the picture....

Yeah, I know what you mean... There is a 12-point buck out where I live and I'm always afraid that someone's going to get him.. I love to take pictures of them with my camera. People ask me if I shoot deer, My reply is that I only shoot them with a camera.

good reply! that is the ultimate way to say you are against that! i wish i could see a buck up close that isn't in a zoo.... you are so lucky, cause it is pretty hard to find those big creatures in the desert here! was that a picture you took?
but, the funniest animal encounter i have seen is with a black bear. my dad is driving us around Yellowstone, cruising... nice view and we are resting.... he is chatting to himself.....
'lovely trees. nice mountains.....there is a bear crossing the intersection.......'

wake up! bear leaving the intersection! and we see it chugging on the other side of the highway, only its butt!

Unfortunately, I did not take this pic. I actually have a series of pictures of a Buck jumping over a fence. My camera was set to where it took pictures really fast, so I caught every move the buck made. I don't do Photobucket or anything like that, so I can't post my pictures...

cool! those must be some brilliant images! maybe you could make some form of plain banner, nothing fancy, to post it somewhere! like just place it on mybannermaker, then dont place any text or anything, and bam! a brilliant image!

my only story is my nieghbor works with a wild life rescue and has this really big fenced in area like 2 acres of trees and tall grass. Went over one day and asked why they had a 10'2 fence and she opened her back door to a set of little fawns, one a pale brown and the other albino, plus a doe that had a flipping bionic leg. she told us that the doe wasn't a wild doe and that they used her to foster Fawn that lost their mother in car accident and such.
