and then of course type up all of the species info. These will be the lines the adoptions will be in :>
eghsahdl I so fail at horse and horse-like anatomy. I had to do something sort of stylistic because I couldn't get it to look semi-good any other way ;___;

By far, these creatures are the oldest on Aurion. If they are not injured, they never die. They do not have mouths because they do not eat (but if you must draw them with a mouth, be my guest!), and must talk with other creatures through telepathy. The only thing they need to keep living is energy- which they get from Aurion's Sun and Moon. They can store a lot of energy in their body, however, so if they must go without the sun or moon for about 4 days they can still live. On the third day, they grow very weak; but on the fifth day they will die. Their blood is actually clear, like water. It carries any nutrients they gather from the sun, along with the most effective white blood cells ever known to man.
They are very light and agile creatures, though they have no major defense except for small hooves and powerful back legs. However, glowdeer are usually very regal creatures who do not hide themselves, and no one bothers to attack them because there are so many odd myths and legends spread around them, they seem godly. They do tend to be cautious around large predators, and usually run away from them. The Yami Tribe is their most feared predator and they will run whenever they get the smallest feeling a member is near.
The Glowdeer's closest friends are the Hakari Tribe of wolves, as they protect them from the Yami Tribe's evil leader, Kuro. The leader of the Hakari Tribe is Shiro, who is also a wolf and brother to Kuro. They will often chat with the Hakari wolves, and feel much safer when the pack sleeps nearby. They do not quite understand the moon spirit the Hakari speak of, but they love to hear stories of him, or of the pack's life and adventures. Their ability to control water, ice, and earth is fascinating to them as well, but they are a little frightened when young ones are training, because some try to control too much too quick, and usually causes damage to those nearby.
Glowdeer live in groups, but they call them 'families.' Father Illuminous is the highest ranked glowdeer, and the father of all of them. They will always refer to him as Father or Father Illuminous, though the wolves don't always do that. The next rank is his direct sons and daughters, called Big Brothers/Sisters, or Directs. They are the first few glowdeer, and the Father's first children. After that, there are no other ranks. If they are not the Father or a Direct, then they are just a brother or sister. Glowdeer are not really concerned with ranks, but they do treat the higher ranked deer with more respect. Older glowdeer also gain more respect, as they are wiser than young ones. Glowdeer often try to choose a mate for life, but their lives last a long time, and sometimes love weakens as time breaks it down. That hasn't been a problem lately, however, thanks to Kuro.
I will be PMing a few people to make their own glowdeer designs soon. Those who are invited, please send me a picture of it before you post, so I can check it.
