Wolf Anatomy Check

Postby Zax » Mon Jul 11, 2011 12:29 pm

I want to make sure my wolf anatomy is spot on. I would like some EXPERIENCED artists to give me some tips and such on drawing them.

I just want to let you know I'm not flaming you, and I want to give some tips. :)

1. The legs aren't that long. Shorten them a bit.
2. The ears aren't as far back as you have them. Move them up.
3. A wolf's tail is usually a bit longer and has a lot of fur on it.
4.The drop on the head to the nose needs to be a little bit deeper, and it needs to be more sudden.
5. The paws are a little large, so you should try to decrease their size a little more.

Other than that -I actually think I had something else to say, oh well- your anatomy is fine! I hope I helped, and I promise that was not a flame! ;)

I meant the hind legs by the way, and I remembered what else I was going to say! Make the head and nose longer!! :)

Alright. Thanks for the help. I'm taking my break from horses for a month, and I'm drawing wolves, so I want my anatomy right.
