I know, for a fact, that my art is not terrible, I think it's actually pretty good. Yet, simply because not many people know of me on CS, no body can even bother to comment, just a little, on whether or not they like the art.
Of course, when some one who is both a fantastic artist, and well-known posts a simple sketch, even lazier than this one, every one is all googly eyed and "OMG you're such an amazing artist!". And when a good artist. but not well known person posts a sketch they put time and effort into, people just glaze right over it.
And that, chicken smoothy users, makes me sick

You are a good artist. I thought I was at least okay, and I put some effort into my latest pic, and I got two comments. One was from a person who I had commented on, and they were probably just returning the favor. Then steamed to my friend in RL about it, and she commented on it. So yeah. -_-
, but at the end of the day, all artists can really rely upon are themselves. Create art because you love doing it, be proud of your art no matter how many comments it does or doesn't get.
