This is my dog that died a couple years ago, these lines reminded me of how we found her. We found her in the pound, on her last day of holding so she would've been put down if we didn't take her. But after 5 years of being a happy family, she ran away. We got a phone call a few days later, someone had hit her on the highway. I'll never forget that sweet girl. <3

thats so sad..my dog, lacey, was a X cattle dog, she was born deaf, and her first owner was going to shoot her because of it, but we took her in. when i was 10, she ran outside, and we couldnt find her, someone had hit her while she was walking across the highway to see my big sister, who was across the highway, 4 streets away from our home, at a fish and chip shop. our lacey was the most gifted dog i know, and all life is art, but she was a master piece <3...i miss her alot.

Aw, I'm sorry to hear about that. She sounds like she was a truly special dog! It's good you rescued her, because why would someone shoot a dog because of being deaf! The kitten I have now is deaf, and she was a stray ut totally tame so we took her in. She is great and isn't affected by her deafness. We all miss any pets we have lost, <3.

Very sad story to hear It made me cry and you must have suffered a great loss for your dog and I feel so sorry to hear that. But on the bright side I love your picture! It's very preety and I LOVE the details on it!
