About the species
Fate Hounds are crossbreeds of a Spirit Hound and a "normal" canine (no one actually knows what it was...some say, it was a coyote, some say, a wolf...). Spirit Hounds are Sighthound-like creatures who are said to be Death's companions. They lead souls into the Afterworld and although they look a bit creepy, they are caring, gentle creatures and far from being "demonic". Somehow, they crossbred with normal animals and the result was a completely new species: The Fate Hounds.
Fate Hounds have inherited the gentleness and calmness of their supernatural parents, but unlike them, they tend to search for the company of another being. Although being unable to speak, they understand every spoken language and even the thoughts of a person. Their loyalty and not at least their grace and beauty make them the perfect companion, not a pet, however, because they are at least as intelligent as a human.

Fur Colours
Fate Hounds are usually light-coloured, with unnatural designs and bright eyes (often red). However, there have also been some dark coloured fate Hounds, but those are very rare. Diseases, such as blindness, or mutations, like more tails, are said to be possible, but haven't been sighted yet.
Special Abilities
Almost every Hound has one special ability, "magical", as some people say. The most common ones are:
- turning itself and other people/things invisible
- floating/flying
- creating illusions (either affecting sense of smell, sense of hearing, sense of taste or sense of sight)
