Tide’s mother was captured by humans in a round-up. These round-ups are done every few years and it’s purpose it to keep track of the wild horse population. She, and the rest of the band were running from the copter when a Arab bait horse led them into the corals.
Once the horses were tagged or retagged, the stallions or mares with foals were released. But, a few mares, that, after a few test, were proven to be in heat. They were bred by a few of the bait horses or other stallions that were brought in. The reason, the wild horse numbers were low and they wanted to breed in colors that were not normally found in the wild, such as palomino.
(Personality)
Tide is stubborn and determined. Like all other stallions, they were turned out of the band when they turn two and then join Bachelor Bands, and from then on, challenge other Band stallions for there mares so, they to, can become Band stallions. But Tide doesn’t want to be a band stallion, he likes the life of a bachelor. He likes his carefree life.
