This is her character Cwen, a cat resembling a Turkish Angora(<--Also my ref ^^). More info on Cwen can be found under Spocky's character thread found Here
Now that it's finally finished, I can explain it. I tried to depict her as being very prideful and regal, so I I sloped the back and made her chest high. The necklace is made of individual 5 point stars interconnected like a figaro necklace. The earring is just a four point star.
Now the background is what I really wanted to explain. Like the title, I wanted the show her "Soul Rising". In a way, it's based off Spocky's short story and Cwen wanting to explore the world around her, but is restricted by her lack of knowledge of survival. But despite that, she goes beyond her fears and goes out anyway to show she's like her friends. The backround show her hope in such a way to say that despite conflicts, she'll rise past them if she tries hard enough. The touch of gold closest to her body represents light spiritedness breaking out through the greys and blacks, differing herself from the rest of her surroundings.
I love Spockylass' story so far, I hope she writes more ^^
I am actually quite proud of this one! It turned out great so far, and compared to Older Works, I've advanced tremendously. *Pats back* Yay!
