If you erase and the checkerboard shows, its just showing bits thats transparent. It ends up white if you leave it with the checkerboard. Is that what you mean?

Like whenever i erase the checkborad pattern shows thats all I know. I have no idea how to prevent it from doing that. I just wanna erase normally!!! haha

"Erase normally" = paint with white. There has to be *something* in the space you're erasing, after all.. . Or like AeroSpark says, just leave the checkerboard there. It just shows you which parts of the image will be transparent when it is saved, it appears as solid white on the forum.
