Queen of the Moon

Postby Al the Dalek » Thu May 19, 2011 10:54 am

This is an unofficial character in the novel I'm working on, and she personifies one of story's planet's three moons.

In folklore a female named Kreya ruled with her sisters. She ruled the people, while her two sisters took the sky and the planet below. But Kreya grew jealous, because no matter what good she gave to the people, they praised her sisters and not her. Furious, Kreya sent a plague upon the people. Desperate to stop this in its tracks, the mother and father of the three sisters came down, punishing Kreya by ruining her once beautiful face. They then banished the three sisters to three moons, Kreya gaining a prison that was at once beautiful and scarred, the scarred moon of Kreya. They say that her two sisters were released to go back to ruling, but Kreya was forced to remain in her moon, and has remained there ever since.

If anyone wants to hear the full story, feel free to PM me. Mind you, it is a sort of folk story, and is relatively short, but it goes into more detail then the brief summary here. Comments on the picture are appreicated as well, I worked hard on it and I would appreciated feedback.
Why yes, I am female. Click on the cake to go to my fictional pet diary!
