This one start to be demonic, but I'm not a very demonic person so it turned out to be a very light colored design. So in the end I got a warrior type character,
Let me explain some of the attributes:
Mask: The mask is made of iron cask and bone. The top is a very strong iron with two spikes made for ramming. The top of this part is very broad on the forhead but form fitting on the sides. Attached to this part is a jaw bone of a unknown creature. The teeth have been filed slightly as to not cut his face. Blood from hunting and eating deer, rabbit, ect. has stained both pieces slightly.
Shoulder plate: The shoulder plate is made of the same iron as the mask. the spikes on the ridge and the coverings on the shound and ribcage are so that the enemy can't jump on the back to attack.
Eye: He was actually born blind in the right eye. When he was scarred on his left eye, he was very thankful because he didn't want to have to risk being fully blind. He got the mask soon after so he would injure his other eye.
Front paws: The stains are simply from using his front paws in fighting and hunting so much. He's not bloodthirsty by any means.
Flank markings: You said you liked pastel markings so I thought that a pastel trobal pattern would add a nice touch to the natural colored base. They go over the back and repeat on the other side.
Ankle: Just a continuence of the flank markings.
Stomach: Claw scars go from mid-belly and along the left side. These were gotten during his first fight where he did not know what it meant to be careful.
