"Pariuam!" My mother called from deep in the woods. I smiled, padding up to her side. "Yes, mother?" I asked politely. She thanked me for using manners and replied with, "Just wondering where you were, my sweet angel." She said. I nodded thankfully of all the great things in my life. Mom gestured me to go first, so I went into a dark puddle of black. It looked like a tar pit, but it was just dirty water.
