Every single pet of mine has these little hair thingies when I draw them.
(Have you noticed in my drawings of CS pets?)
I think it gives them distinction.
Their hair tells you a bit about their personality.
For example..
Charim, the almost-full-body dog with spots has hair like that because he's wild, outgoing and studlike.
Spaa, the dog to his top-left, has hair that is like a curl because she's insanely happy and outgoing.
Darian, the dog at the bottom left corner is more bad-boy-ish. <w<
