Personality: Arminius does not open up often. He was one that always figured in times of war and peril, there was no time to be sidetracked into liking someone. However, if you were to catch him in a good time, you would realize how nice and loyal he really is. Few ever do on the contrary. You would have to be his subordinate to understand that he's only harsh because he cares for your safety and would feel resposible if you ever got hurt. There's no extent to his quiet kindness: He would only eat, once his subordinates were fed. He would only sleep after his men had all fallen asleep. He would only leave the battle field after he's searched it three times over for all of his subordinates. Some say he would do as much as to jump in front of the gun for you.
Despite many years of military service, he has yet to have gained a scar. However, he doesn't pride in this. He only prides in not running from a battle scene when all others had.
History: Arminius was born in a litter of three. Both his mother and his father had been involved in the war making him and his brother natural fighters. However his sister became ill and she died a year after birth. This hurt Arminius greatly so he vouged to protect anyone who was weak in hope not to lose them too. Half a year later him and his brother's parents were summoned to war and they were token up by one of the generals. He and his brother trained endlessly under the mentorship of the General. They both went to war but his brother disappeared mysteriously. Arminius continued to climb the ladder under the supervision of the General who raised him and today he is a First Lieutenant. He promised himself that he would continue to fight for his family and one day find his brother.

Name: Tojo
Gender: Male
Age: 2 years 3 months
Rank: Corporal
Personality: Tojo is not the friendliest of dogs. He's not sensitive at all, making him a good, war-hard solider. Anyone underneath him is just an inferior solider compared to him because they aren't on the same level as him. However, he is very submissive to most of his higher ups. They are almost rolemodels to him in some sort of fantastical way. The only one that he refuses to submit to is Ursus, whom he sees as a threat and a nuisance. He holds it against him that he is only six months older than him and a rank higher than himself.
History: Tojo comes from a normal background. He was born into a litter of 5, but the youngest died from internal issues soon after birth. His mother was a pacifist, but his father could care less about any war around him. Constant discouragement faced him when he told them that he wanted to join the army. This caused them to rebel against them, and eventually come to hate them for their discouragement. When he snuck away late one night, his younger sister followed him unknowingly, and despite Tojo's skill, was killed by enemy forces on the way to the camp. He still blames himself for the loss of his closest family member.

The Bernese Mountain Dog
Name: Ursus (nickname: Bear)
Gender: Male
Age: 2 Years 9 Months
Rank: Sergeant
Personality: Ursus is most of the time quiet and caring. He cares deeply for all of his soliders, despite what rank they are, and despises Tojo for his mistreatment of his soliders. Because of this, he pledged to himself to always be a higher rank than him in order to hold some command over him. He cares deeply for Cricket because he respects her values and endurance. He would very much like to take her under his arm, but can't because his higher ups won't let him take such a low ranking solider from a different platoon. Bear also has a deep respect for Arminius because of his progress in the army. Despite his kindness outside the field, he becomes a whole different dog on the battlefield, often being described with such names like "beast", "demon", and "a whole other species".
History: Ursus was born with only one other sibling, a younger sister, which he was always on standard terms with her. His father was in the army, and was in it until he recieved a serious injury which cost him his back leg. After that he stayed home and tried to pump ideals of the army of on his two pups. Ursus and his sister Daekia (day-key-uh) joined the army a year later, where they were both successful. Daekia is currently two ranks below him.

Name: Cricket
Gender: Female

Personality: Cricket is a sweet, gentle corgi who, despite profession, tries to find other tactics beside fighting. She believes in the power of words more than actions, and this shows because she hasn't moved a rank since she joined. She is described as having a strong will, but it is quite evident that she isn't physically strong. Some soliders worry for her for when she is finally introduced to the battle field because they think she will be imediately taken down due to her lack of strength. Really though, they shouldn't undermine her because where she lacks in strength she makes up in brains. Cricket is very intellegent and despite gentleness is not afraid to show you that she has the endurance and courage. This is why Ursus likes her so much. The feelings are returned to Ursus as well, because he is thought to be like a brother figure to her.
History: Cricket was "abandoned" at a young age. What really happened though was that her family was slaughtered by a T-51and a family of foxes took her in and raised her. When she got to the age to realize that the foxes weren't related to her and she asked where her real parents were they told her that they had to go on a mission for the good of dog-kind and would not be back for quite a while and that they asked them to take care of her. When she was scouted to the army the dogs were notified of what happened to her parents. Later, 3 months into training, Tojo cruelly told her what really happened to her parents. Cricket was devestated and had to be relocated to a different platoon away from Tojo, which upset Ursus because that meant he would no longer see her as often.
