Richard Parker

Postby apache~ » Tue Apr 19, 2011 12:08 pm

This is not at all what I intended at first, but I like the end product.

Richard Parker from the book Life of Pi...

SPOILER ALERT:

this is actually Pi, since in his second version of the story he is revealed to be the tiger. it's supposed to be him looking down into the water, and seeing a tiger's reflection.

Absolutely stunning. <3

I've read Life of Pi twice now, and I went to see the movie as soon as it was released in theatres. (Mindblowingly beautiful film, one of my all-time favourites, and profound novel. You have done them both justice.)
on semi-permanent hiatus
(unable to fill any art requests as my tablet is very broken, apologies!)

I've never read the book, but your drawing looks amazing. The tiger looks so fluffy! :)
