What would you name them?
I would name him Trathien; pronounced (Trey-then)
Boy/Girl?
Male//Boy
Why do you want them?
Oh my, the reasons are endless! First and probably the most obvious would be his design. I absolutely love the design, and the hair, especially the hair. |D I've been browsing around for a design color that I don't already have, as all my characters are getting too similar for my taste. So, what do ya know! I stumbled across Trathien! I don't have any blue designs at the moment, which is odd as it is my second favorite color, next to dark green. He's that perfect sort of blue too, my two favorite shades actually! A dark, navy sort of blue a a still dark, but yet lighter royal color blue. He's just too perfect! |D Secondly, he's not super complex which is really refreshing to my eyes. |3 His design is fairly simple, and not super sparkly dog-like and blinding to have to look at. Very nice to see. All at the same time he is simple, but yet unique and a very nice character. Next, he looks like a character I could see in my Hybrid Shifters Stories. The stories are about hybrid species, wolves, creatures, and shape shifters that battle sort of like in dog fighting, but waaayyyy different. Some of them have powers, which put them in the Elite status, while others do not. Since there is a wide range of species and skill levels involved in the battles, so there are in return levels that the fighters battle in. I most likely would not be giving Trathien here any powers, but I did have a unique little story in mind. I was thinking of making him a past gladiator, but since the gladiators were around a long time ago, Trathien would too be very old, so how could he be alive? Well, I guess I lied when I said he wouldn't have powers. I guess aging very slowly would count as a power, but not a very useful one. Of course, I do not have to do any of this if you do not wish me to. Just an idea I had; nothing is set in stone. |3 Lastly, I feel like I really connect with this design. I don't think he really is much like me, at all, so there's not a real chance of me using him as a fursona, but in him I see a style that I'm absoloutly in love with. He reminds me of a sort of Steampunk/Rocker/Punk/Skater mixture that I've been making a lot of my characters like lately. I absoloutly love this style, and I honestly think it's because I wish this style could actually represent me. It doesn't, at all, but I can always wish. |3
What would you use them for?
I would first and foremost be using him in roleplays. As mentioned above I am planning on using him in my hybrid shifters story. |3 I think he'd be perfect for the story based on his looks and the character built into that design. I'd very likely be getting art of him, and therefore dedicating a page to him in my character thread; and most definently my web's page if I ever get around to renovating it...
Personality:
Tray usually gives off a first impression of being totally a hotheaded, egotistical player that always has the ladies lined up just to knock em' down. He just gives that aura off that he uses his words to charm and nothing more, their meaning only false to get you to do what he wants you to do. He'll say what's on his mind, twisting his words in charming, sly ways that make you wonder if what he's saying is good or bad. He's very good at influencing people, making him fairly manipulative and at times deceptive. Tray is totally rebellious and will do anything for a good thrill, whether it is a split second, dim-witted decision or not. He's a very quick thinker and has a sharp tongue, trained in sarcasm, and very intelligent no matter how much his looks may suggest otherwise. He's totally daring, outgoing, fearless; you name it! He's up for trying anything at least once. When it comes to girls Trathien doesn't really have commitment issues, he just chooses not to commit. He's content with one girl for awhile, but will shamelessly flirt with another as if there was nothing wrong in the matter. He a very vivacious being, his moods ranging anywhere from exuberant and adventurous, to laid back and sleepy. The boy is often a little quirky and silly, quite the jokester, going to almost any extent for a smile or giggle.
In ways this is not deceiving, but he really isn't like this deeper down. Trathien is really sweet and genuine, honest in almost all cases. He's totally supportive and there when you need him, reliable in every way imaginable. Despite his crazy, happy-go-lucky attitude he can be very understanding and even caring. He doesn't like to see others get hurt emotionally, and is thought of a very defensive and protective over females; no matter if he knows them or not. Males at time he will do the same, but for the most part he sticks up for the ladies. He's very charming and honest, protective and sly; not to mention good looking! A total ladies man this one is!
Story:
((This story it Trathien in his human form versus his wolf form. I hope that is alright!))
When he wandered through the door, the same old little bell rang as it clanked against the glass door, and did the same as he shut the door behind him. Not many eyes turned his way, but Trathien was just as indifferent to being noticed as to not in his human form. He slipped off his black top coat, revealing his plain white t-shirt and dark washed destroyed jeans. He was aware that he stood out as a human, but not many questioned his “style choice” even though he knew they all silently judged, at least the general population. There were the few that shared his punk-like style of simple clothes, many piercings, and odd hairstyles like his that was halfway between a mohawk and regular hair. A sigh escaped the boy as he draped his coat over the base of a bar stool he had chosen, and sat down with a light shrug. He held up his hand, lifting his pointer finger to the bartender. Tray was a regular customer, and so the bartenders were aware of what he always got and so on. The bartender set a blue colored beverage in an odd almost triangle-like glass with a lime on the edge; something like a martini. The boy delicately picked up the glass, and inspected it skeptically. He rotated his wrist in circles, sending the blue liquid as well in circles, swirling around the glass. Shrugging off his skeptics, Tray took a sip, and smiled in satisfaction. He set the glass back down on the high counter before rotating himself so he could look around the bar.
His dark sapphire eyes drank in the scenery while he fingered his drink nonchalantly, tired from his training from earlier. Taking another sip of his martini, Trathien felt at ease, the feeling of his sore muscles and bruised ribs almost forgotten. Setting the blue glass down with one hand, Tray used the other to fiddle with the strands fraying from one of the holes in his jeans. The sound of the bell tied to the bar's entrance captured the boy's attention, but only for a moment as the person his did not recognize, and was male; not someone Tray would generally take a liking to. Te turned to start fiddling with his jeans once more, finding himself double taking as a petite feminine frame caught his eye. She sat two chairs down from him, the chair separating them empty. His eyes wandered over her features, memorizing every detail.
She was no taller than him, and by the looks of it a few inches or so shorter. She had loose curled, wavy chestnut hair that fell over her shoulders and occasionally over her left eye so that she constantly had to adjust it out of her face. She wore a pair of dark stained skinny jeans and a loose top that didn't fully cover her well shaped stomach. On her head she wore a loose white knit beret, that really seemed to be more of a beanie than a beret. She wore little makeup, her eye lashes only lengthened by mascara and eyes darkened by eye liner. She sat with an expression of boredom, fingering her drink and twirling a lock of hair around her index finger.
Trathien was one for introductions, a master at charm. Now seemed to be one of those times to put his skills to the test; there was no way in hell he was letting his girl get away. Snatching up his coat and nabbing his drink, Tray moved down a chair and wasn't phased when her dark chocolate eyes took him in. With a sly, cocky smile Trathien introduced himself. "I just couldn't help but notice how bored you seem and realize how much I felt the same... My name is Trathien... Would I happen to be awarded the pleasure of learning your name my dear?" He sat his drink down on the bar and completely forgot about its existence, his deep blue eyes focused on this new delightful creature.
