I watched you fall, I lost it all.
A scream from your lips, as I missed.
Now you're gone, I lie still at dawn.
Wishing my grip was tighter.
My heart, it burned,
As I saw you hurt,
Couldn't hear no words,
Blocked all sound.
That shallow black stone that used to pound...
Now feels no warmth.
Tears burned bright,
Pooling out of my eyes,
Crimson clouded my sight.
That sickening thud,
The smell of fresh blood,
All comes back to me now...
Each year I visit the scene of your demise.
Each year I see the replay in my eyes.
Each year the pain is not wistly missed.
Each year it burns too hot to be dismissed.
I still feel the love for you I felt not long ago,
Though my eyes are lifeless, my heart frozen in stone.
You will not be forgotten, will be ever missed.
I miss the sound of your laugh, the tenderness of your kiss.
I gave up on that when your pulse faded away.
Rest in peace, forever I hope you may.

This is a new character. He's a male, and I call him Twilight. He has a depressing backstory to go along with this picture. I might post it later, if anyone wants to read it, but basically, the she-wolf he loved so passionately had slipped off a cliff. She clung onto a branch, reaching for his paw. But his grip slipped up, and she tumbled down. By the time he got down there, she was in a pool of her own blood, and her heart beat ceased to exsist. This is him visiting the site like he does each year to honour her, and he's imagining her free-falling with his paw, the one who once held hers, dangling helplessly.
