Their designs were awesome. Though they did have an awesome color palette and even more beautiful shading, they were kinda too difficult for an animator to color in. Not that that is a bad thing, though.~
Their personalities and stories were awesome too ^^ Beautiful entry, and I appreciate how long you took to work on it :U

Gosh, I love the designs so much. They don't stray too far away from the natural coloring of the dogs' breeds and they have a nice mix of creativity!~ Their stories and personalities fit so well with them too~

I adore the designs so much, they are simple and hold creative markings as well! The painting style of your entry was fantastic, as well! And their personalities were so awesome <3 I didn't expect the Akita to have such a mature as you gave him; I love it so much!~
Their stories were unique as well :3c Though there were many similarities with the 'being abused' or 'left out on the streets,' you had chosen unique locations for them!~ I applaud you!~

A reminder though, to all who had made qualifying entries I will still be able to "cameo" your characters in my animation. You may keep them, but I am letting you know beforehand.

That is what this contest is for.
I need you to design me four dogs for this story I plan on animating on my YouTube.
They are all male (except for the Corgi, you may decide that for yourself).
From left to right- a Pitbull, an Akita Inu, a Bernese Mountain dog, and a Pembroke Welsh Corgi.
Please, design them as you wish.

This contest will end by the end of August or September, depending on who's entering.

I have rules, though.
Thought this'd be easy-peasy, ne?

RULES


1. The designs must be mostly NATURAL COLORS. Meaning, I want to see no traces of the following colors in their designs:

~Pink
~Purple
~Blue
~Green
~Neon

~Any colors that aren't natural for the breed. You can look up the breeds pages to see what you may base them off of. (You may use these colors if they're for their eyes. Except neon pink and orange. Ick. No.)

2. When you look at a picture to reference their natural coloring, please link it back. I'd like to see if you copied it or not.

3. I don't want this as a straight up photo-color. Be creative, throw some of yourselves into it. Please, it'd make the characters even more wonderful. <3

4. When you create your characters, please use the following form to fulfill me with your creative juices. :

Remove the stuff in parenthesis or I will kill you. And no, do not change the males' genders. Only the Corgi can be male or female.

5. Even if you do not win the grand prize, I am able to use your character design in my animation unless they do not meet the regulations. Then you'd have nothing to worry about.

6. I may be subject to changing the prizes, but I am assuring you this, right now, that I am giving away my St. Patty's dragon. Mainly because... I don't want it lol.

7. Please, be good sports. No saying "Oh, I'm not going to win now" because it makes me mad. If you knew you weren't going to win, why did you ever join in the first place? Have some self confidence... or I'll give it to ya <3

8. You may add scars and such, by the way. No missing eyes or anything, but if you want your character to end up missing something, tell me. I'll make it happen. >3

9. DO NOT EDIT THE LINEART OR REMOVE THE SIGNATURE. I cannot stress this enough. What this is is what you'll get. If I see any changes to the lineart, you will be disqualified. Do not disrespect the awesome drawing skills of which that belong to KaiKenNatsuki. Thanks, again, by the way. <3
