Magic Lamp Equids
Deep in the hottest deserts of the world you may find them if you are lucky. Very lucky. Because those Equids are rare. And very shy. But once the bonded with you, they are the most loyal speciemen you could think of. Besides their loyalty you will find them very helpful. In fact, they are magical! Each Dschinnequid may grant you some wish and most of them have aditional powers. They are marked with individual runes of power, symbolizing their king of magic.
Life
They love to wander through the arid scenery of the desert. Fast as the wind, strong as the heat of the sun and sure footed like the flowing sand they climb the massiv dunes in their homeland. Eack Equid has a magic lamp in which they can retreat to restore their powers and energy, just like a Dschinn would do. Therefore they are also known as Dscinnequids.
Accessories
Some Dschinnequids like to wear ancient jewelery they found in Pyramids, Graves or other ruins. Some of them have power to them, too, so that they may enhance the Magic of the Equid.
Runes of Power
The magical markings on their coat symbolize the character of power they may wield. Mostly the markings build ancient runes, hieroglyphes or other symbols the represent gods or mighty ghosts and can occur on every part of the body such as face, neck, tail and limps. They can come in any colour of the rainbaow and will glow in the dark, when their magic is used or when they or their bonded human are in danger.
coat colour
As every southerly equine breed they come in various coat colours using the full range of real world equine colours includinf rabicano, pinto, appaloosa, any champaigne gene, etc. Although the tend to be more often dark coloured and or dusty. Maybe this is because of their ability to turn into dust when they retreat into their lamps like a ghost.
Adoption
Wait untill you see a Dschinnequid with the adopt me sign on it`s picture. Then follow the orders of the artist to apply for it.
