Hello chicken smoothie. do you guys know what day it is? "june 1st!" you guys say. Yes! it is pride month startig today. do you guys know why we celebrate pride month in june? "why?" This is because the stonewall riots started in june 1969. these were protests against a police raid of stonewall inn which is a gay bar in new york city. Fun fact: it is still there! "why did they raid the stonewall inn" you guys say. Well because being gay publicly was ILLEGAL back then! after these riots the gay pride movement started. and now it is legal to be gay and for people of the same sex to be married in America. and now we can be proud! Yay! To celebrate this month i added my sona Eden to this beautiful scene of a pride parade drawn by berketexspet. i am bisexual because i like people of two or more genders. Hooray! happy pride month to lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and queer people and to allies everywhere on chicken smoothie! have a smoothtastic pride
