i finished act 2 earlier and hollyyy crap that was unironically one of the most beautifully written things ive seen in a while. it cannot be understated how awesome this games writing is. there is so much intention in even the smallest places
the game being so grituitiously ultraviolent is so obviously satirical once you hear and see the story ... the games themes of anti violence and anti religion r so well executed (and dare i say the anti religious stuff has some striking queer undertones but i dont know if the ultrakill fandom is ready to hear this yet!)
also i have more thoughts about gabriel than can be put into words but oh my god he is so tragic
