"Oh come on, Daniel!" Anna's voice called down the stairs leading to where Rainer holed himself up. "You can't be cooped up in here all the time!"
"I don't wanna." He replied, shifting in his chair. "Can we reschedule?"
Anna huffed as she came downstairs, approaching him and grabbing his arm. "Bad news, buddy boy. There's no way in hell I'm rescheduling your birthday. Mayzie wants to see you, you know!"
Rainer blinked at this, sitting up. "Mayzie does?"
"Duh!" Anna replied. "Get off your ass, c'mon. We have stuff to do today!"
