working on my deer/notdeer universe stuff. current lore:

- All deer -- no idea if this is a deer only universe or a general furryverse yet, have yet to decide -- can become notdeer
- you can also be born as a notdeer but thats incredibly rare. most notdeer are made, not born
- deer become notdeer from a Significant Moment in their life. almost always traumatic in nature, but not necessarily. it has to be a very major, life-changing event though. Most deer never become notdeer. something like marriage isn't enough to cause the transformation.
- notdeer cannot become deer.
- not every major event in your life, even if its traumatic, can turn you into a notdeer.
- like irl deer, this universe's anthro-deer still need some meaty protein, so their food isn't much different from ours really. but becoming a notdeer just amplifies that need to an extreme degree, pushing them more into carnivore territory
- notdeer have very sharp back teeth, and their mouths can open wider. you ever see those 'horses with dog mouths' edits? this was kinda based on that. notdeer's front teeth are still pretty normal looking
- every notdeer has a strange 'marking.' These marks are obvious, and don't match the rest of the notdeer's coat. It does not change the look/length/texture of the fur, only the color.
- i cant draw deer.
