reminder, i'm using these prompts by bweirdart on tumblr for my OCtober drawings! :3
for today i redesigned a VERY old plaguedoctor OC i used to call Bird Man
I didn't do anything too wild or out there to change his design, just some quality of life changes! I removed the visible humanity from him so now it's up in the air on whether there's a person under that mask, which I think adds to the vibe a lot. Otherwise I stylized the mask and his build more to give him more expressiveness, and drew out the frill detail from the original's collar and gave him some more frilled elements. I also restyled his bowtie into a brooch! I think he's pretty neat personally. not perfect, but I didn't want to go TOO overboard with adding details since his original design was meant to be more simple
this concludes intro week! next up is day 5, the beginning of backstory week, with the prompt 'relationships'.
