✦What are Wind Reapers? - - - - - - - - - -

Wind Reapers are a species of dragon that inhabit high ground, most
commonly seen on mountain peaks. Their long, thin body allows them to
maneuver steep slopes and jagged cliffs with ease. With their strong back
legs, they can easily climb trees and make amazing leaps. Although they
are unable to fly, their light body weight allows them to glide, with help
from their high jumps and long tails. Their tails are very flexible, helping
them climb and glide.
Despite their appearance, most Reapers are relatively timid and shy. They
are loners, however occasionally enjoy a friends company. They mate for
life due to their lack of trust for others, and can live for up to 30 years.

Home:
Makaw's home is up in a tree. Its her most favorite tree, as well. She used to come here when she was young. She loved to stare up at its branches. She tried to climb it, but never could...When she grew, she got better at climbing. Now, she's climbed the tree. She's made it her home.

prompt :: hummingbird has lived in the rainforest for her whole life, and is proud to call it her home.
her favourite things about it are the many different flora and fauna that co-exist. when bored, she likes to just watch the sloths slowly climb or tropical birds flit from tree to tree. speaking of trees, she made her own “tree house” too. it’s at the one of the top branches on one of those really tall trees only found in rainforests. an Angelim-Vermelho, to be exact. here’s a pic ::



it’s basically just a large bird nest, presumably an eagle’s or some other bird of prey’s. she covered it with moss, jungle flowers, and feathers of the rainforest birds that dropped to the canopy floor. to keep her nest protected, she positioned it so that it is covered by several layers of leaves, protecting her from the elements. of course, it won’t protect her from extremely strong winds, but none have blown her nest away yet. she hopes the weather will continue to be that way.

she stores her food (which consists mostly of fruit) in a tree hollow. her nest is located on the branch outside it, so she could actually just hop into her hollow when it rains to sleep.
she prefers sleeping in her nest out in the open air, though. she likes watching the stars before going to sleep.

sometimes, random birds will come to visit her nest, and hummingbird will not chase them away. instead, she will
give them several of her berries from her stash. she loves interacting with the many different rainforest creatures, and is always comforted when they come back to visit her.

Sơn Đoòng Cave

Oanh lives in a cave in the forest. He is relatively small for his species and this is helpful to cope with the small spaces. Strangely enough for his specis he doesn't live on the top of a mountain, but in a forest in a valley. He loves the solitude this implies and wouldn't change his home for anything else.
