I hope venting is ok....it was first a nice little (FAIL) zebra but then I got carried away....it went from a plain zebra to words saying how zebra's are each individual....to a personal vent about how I am me and I can't change that. Not for anyone and people should learn to deal with that fact.

Anyway very sorry if I'm not allowed to do this....I can delete the words....

And.....this was meant to be intermediate like my other recent art....but I must have put it in the wrong place....I don't know if it turned out intermediate...and I'm not sure if it's done. But mods PLEASE MOVE if this is intermediate....thanks

EDITED: I cleaned it up a bit and now it looks a bit more 'finished'. I also added a background and I'm not sure if I like that...but it stays on for now. I DO NOT have a real ref I was looking at this animal book for the stripes.

Definitely not a Fail zebra, it looks very good.

And as far as being who you are and not changing, good for you! I'm glad there are people who don't want to change who they are because other people don't like it. It keeps the world interesting. And I don't know about you, but I'd much rather people hate me for who I am, than love me for who I'm not.

I believe this should be in sketches and experiments, being its a sketch. But its not a fail, perfect anatomy and perfect lines it has.

But other than that, powerful message you've displayed here, its made me realize a lot about my self just thinking about it deeply, thank you for rant/venting.

^^ And it is a very good quote to live by I think many people don't think of it much and they just try to be how someone else wants them to be. That's an issue in relationships too I think...it was in mine until I realized I should be myself and if he couldn't except me at my worst, he didn't deserve me at my best.
