“ Life isn’t always going to be the best. A long, long time ago, When I was a mere pup, I had figured some things out that was hard to tell others. And when I did, Many accepted me. But not everyone. “ She said, a slight guilt reflected in her smile. “ I’m grateful for those I met. They were quite a blessing to me.. Especialy Alara. My best friend. “
“ Alara was like me. I found her at the old dollar store down the street.. too bad it’s been torn down into a hobby lobby.. Anyways. Alara always supported me. My decisions, My opinions, everything. Every day, We would roam the streets. Playing and laughing. stealing food from the ‘ol hotdog stand. It used to stay right… There. “ Pointing out the window, To the strange corner of the sidewalk. “ We would often find scraps and make our own home from anything we could find.. I was always able to forget all of the judgemental comments while I was with her . “
“ unfortunately.. we were caught. It was a late Friday night, When a few pedestdians caught our trail. We tried to run, But we were separated and taken to metal cages. It was weeks until I saw her. I was soon.. adopted, and taken here. “
“ I have a family.. and a home.. and that’s all I need to be happy. And I know she’s happy too. I’m accepted here, And So is she. No matter how much I’ll miss her, I will always know that she is safe and happy, just like me. “
