A trip to the beach hosted by Adelaron, camping and bonfires and rides among the waves.
But it seems it's the perfect time to spot some rather unusual looking horses, ones among the tides even!
These fishy cousins of the hippocampus trotters seem much more friendly and inviting, and are very curious of their visitors.
Come see if you can manage to take one back home with your beach-running trotter!
We've had a lot of events recently, but here's another! Just adopts this time, no games or items involved to keep things simple.
But we've gotta have rules, right?
This event will end on June 15th, afterward no more sea trotters can be made, artist custom or adopt.
≋ You may only win a max of four Sea Trotters.
≋ You may not breed or compete with these trotters until the event is over.
≋ The shoulder fins cannot pass to offspring. An artist may pass the anglers and leg fins.
≋ Hippocampus markings can be seen on these lines! :D
For Artists:
You may create one single custom after you have posted an adopt.
You may create a second after you have posted at least five adopts.
You may create a third and final custom if you have posted at least ten adopts.
Please keep marking rarities to Rare and below, no limited ones please. This includes on customs!
Please keep all competitions simple, but offer a variety. Raffles are acceptable, but please don't do these every adopt.
Examples of competitions can be share a credited photo of a beach, share a credited image of a mermaid/merhorse, share your favorite fish, make a simple moodboard or playlist, etc.

Want a custom mer-may trotter?
If an artist offers them, you are welcome to order one per month!
There are strict rules with these lines, however!
Rules:
• You may only order one fish-finned trotter per 30 days.
xx> You are not permitted to order one on the 30th and a second another in the 1st of the following month.
• No further edits may be made to the lines, with the exception of a halter edit or usual hair ediys.
xx> You may not ask for an artist to add any other line edits, including but not limited to animal tails, side fin or flipper additions, dorsal fins, etc. The provided edits are all that will be available on these.
• Artists should not be charging for an edit, however they may charge an additional price for complexity of designs of the provided fins!
xx> ie. A marbled betta design would likely cost more than a simpler clownfish variation.
• Hippocampus markings can be requested on these lines, both current and any future additions.
• To be clear, should there be confusion, you may not request edits to be added to these lines. The edits found on #001 are what is available for use.
• Artists may use these lines as their monthly customs, regardless of the 30-day rule for orders.
Artists, please note that if you continually disregard the stated rules by adding additional edits you will be removed from these lines indefinitely. If you have questions, please feel free to ask in the staff channels or dm me.
