after losing hickoryfire, blazelight has been overly protective over both of his kits, and when he couldn’t find lightkit he panicked. his anger at lightkit is just misplaced grief and worry. later, blazelight apologizes for yelling and the family spends the night talking about the clan rules again.
duckfur, the newest warrior and former kitty pet, finds a rootclan cat named mothaster who has run away from their clan. after deliberating it, duckfur decides to bring her back to siltstar. on the journey to the clan camp, she reassures mothaster that she will be accepted, as the clan needs more well trained warriors.
