> Ivybright and Beestar sit together one morning sharing tongues. Topics included the return of prey to the plains, and the upcoming training day planned for Sprucepaw and Pebblepaw. Perhaps a jaunt around the eastern border would be good for them? Not much trouble that way and they could run off their energy on the way there.
> Things took a strange turn however when Beestar suddenly heard noises ahead, almost like a cat in pain? Glancing sharply at Ivybright, Beestar made their way forward and saw just that: an injured cat just inside the border.
> Ivybright bound forward to lend a paw, just stops short when the loner spits and hisses in fear. The apprentices skitter behind Beestar while Ivybright sooths the loner, Pigeon, and calms them down enough to allow the two older cats to bracket them, leading them back to the camp for treatment. The apprentices follow the slow procession, peppering Pigeon with questions until Beestar gently tells them to hunt on the way back.
