"This is the most peculiar, it can't be real!"
Dona takes out her handkerchief and wipes both the glass of her headwear and that of a telescope.
What she was seeing was a new planet indeed. It was of an oval shape, elongated along its equator to resemble a throwing disc. Blue stripes formed circles that grew smaller the closer to the pole they were, and in between was a mix of brown and white, almost as if you were looking at a big foamed cup of stirred macchiato, the colors circularly flowing in and out of each other, blurring together at some places.
And out of the center, bright cream-yellow rings sprouted, making their way around the planet to the other pole. Dona could count 6 or maybe 7 of them, but she was sure there were more that she was not seeing on the other side of the planet. They sparkled as if they were filled with various-sized glitters.
On top of all that, it appeared to have three natural satellites orbiting around it as well. One was moving inside the rings, while the other two seemed to have an irregular ellipse for their orbit. And on their way around the planet, they would occasionally clash with the rings, though after a couple of hours after passing the rings would be pulled back to their regular shape. The three moons were pitch black, but the ones that collided with the rings were covered with some residue glitter. (249/250)

Blue. At first, it was easy to miss as the entire planet was in various shades of blue. Elia had to look a couple more times, just to ensure she was seeing things right. "This is amazing," she said in excited tones towards her cat, Riley. Her hands started to gesture wildly, as she continued to peek into her microscope and speak.

"Recorder, Riley, catch all of this! Position is RA: 06h 45m 08.9s, dec: -16° 42′ 58. What I currently see is an entire planet of water! Can you imagine the kind of marine life it must hold? It does not seem to have a sun, but rather two moons. I wonder if they create tides somehow, as I can see small movement in the waters. The atmosphere itself is tinted in shades of yellow and orange... maybe it is mostly Hydrogen and Helium like Jupiter? I would love to test it! And oh! It has the most lovely set of very small rocks orbiting around it, creating a lose ring of sorts. The rocks are greenish blue, I wonder if methane is involved? A strange combination, but look how pretty it is! I do not see any land at all, how peculiar!"

She grinned widely then, lifting up Riley to look as well.[/color[color=#FF8000]] "I suppose you and I are heading on a field trip, lets go get our gear!"

First, thank you for everyone who entered! All your entries were lovely and creative. It was great seeing and reading the different planets you could come up with.

I've got to say I had a hard time picking someone so I got a little help from a random number generator, so congrats to arbourous!
