Simple-ish patterns/design
Color theory
Black, Grays, or browns with pops of unnatural colors
Ear piercings
Nature themed (especially mushrooms!)
Pastels (especially peachy colors)
Fluffy or slender
Long tails or no tail

Dislikes:
Bug aspects/themes
Overly saturated/eye burning colors (expect as little accents)
Horns(I cannot for the life of me draw them)
Overly desaturated colors
Overly simple or complex designs/patterns
Multiple eyes/limbs

I dont think youd have to worry about the cover being too little!
