Meet the VAROUJAN LUPUS
Translation: Bird of Wolf
This new breed of Wolf is not really all that new. It was orignally bred in the 1700's by the little-known Native American tribe, the Zyhanthans. They were fascinated by wolves and birds, and dreamed of a way for them to be combined. A strange-type of Science was performed by the Zyhanthans, which 5 years later, created the bird-like wolf. It wasn't named until the 1950's by a scientist, Dr. Glaude-Kolt.
He wrote about the wolves:
The strange Canius creature seemed to be a normal Wolf until I notice the front legs. It's legs are that of a very large bird of prey. It's front paws, should I say 'Claws'? The front Claws seem to have 4 large bird-like talons, with a small wolf dew-claw. The back legs are that of a regular wolf. And the ears are magnifcent! They are somewhat feather, like that of a Great Horned Owl, but have the hearing of a cunning Canine. The eyes are a Bird of Preys, closing with a third paper-thin eyelid to moisten their larger then normal eyes. The strange thing about them, they have a very small tail...
As for size, this creature is a dash larger then that over a regular wolf. It's size makes it stronger, faster, and seemingly more intellgent then other Canius creatures I have studied. I have learned this from the several feild tests I have run on several of the more cooperative wolves. Their scores, times, and weights were much greater then that of the regular Canius creature form the labs.
The markings of the wolves is very unique to the normal wolves that have run the packs in this Native territory. Their marking seem to vary from that of a bird to a normal wolf coat. A beak marking covers their muzzle, as well. Most in the pack seem to have markings of the bird whose DNA runs through their veins. The teams favorite has been the pack Alpha, whom has the DNA of a Bald Eagle. His markings are a smiple effect of a bald eagle, yet the legs have a complex design.
The growth cycle of most the wolves is like a wolves; their coats grow with them, not molting like a youngling bird. Simple life. The oldest in the pack seems to 15 years of age, and still living alive. According to the surrounding tribes in the area, the oldest Canine has been 18 years.
There is one last thing that my team has learned about these Canius creatures. At times of danger or intimidation, these wolves morph into the Bird of Prey that is bred into them. A long, feathered tail sprouts over the shorter tail. It's back legs seem to disappear into its body, tucked away under thick fur. The front Claws become smaller and center into the body. As this happens, the muzzle is changed to the beak marking. When this is finally through, the wolf has become the Bird of Prey. It is 1.5x larger then the normal bird that runs in its DNA. The transformation is painless and takes under a minute to perform.
Although the wolves seems to only change during times of trouble, tribes have spoken of times they noticed the wolves change to hunt or for free fight.
My team has fallen in love with these creature and we wish to learn more from and about them. Out of the pack of 30 wolves, we will be taking the 10 that cooperated with the Team. 5 males and 5 females. Once more safe test are run, we will bred them for possible demostication, which most seem to already have.
Please note, these wolves have been known to attack when intimadated instead of change because of instint. We will try our best to bred that from them, yet keep them as pure as possible.
End of entry.

Fast Facts
Scientific Name: Varoujan Lupus
Meaning: Bird of Wolf
Lifespan:15-18 years
Size:
Wolf34-40 inches
Bird 1.5x larger then normal Bird of Prey(Varies on DNA)

The Varoujan Lupus featured is owned by me, and me alone. His name is Yanisin Shikoba; meaning 'Ashamed Feather'. His grandfather was the Alpha of the pack that Dr. Galude-Kolt studied, his mother was cooperative and was sent into the lab. Much more is known about him, but details are not something you need to know. Though, you might want to know, he is WolfxPaire Falcon. His markings are a mixture of both Wolf and Falcon.
One of the different things he has about him is he has the eyes of a Eagle like his father.

Feel free to comment and give feedback about Yanisin or the Varoujan Lupus breed.

I hope you enjoy Spiderman. Now on to my point, I just want to make this small bit of information clear to anyone who asks. I am a male. I am for the UK. I do go to Uni. Those should all give you reasons on why the number of my posts on CS is a small number & why I have very little patience with some people on here. Please learn.
Thanks.

Oh.. Meh.. Gish!!! Outcast! That is amazing!! So detailed, well... more then I could do. You really care for the Varoujan Lupus, and they look beautiful, too.
No wonder you wouldn't let me see what you were working on in Biology... I would have been blinded by it's epicness in school. And you know what Mr. Leaner would have down about that. *RIP to me*
Keep up the good work, bud.
Oh, and mind if I make a Varoujan sometime? You could help me with the detail...

Thanks, Tripp.
And yes, it is fine for you to make a Varoujan. Just ask me if you need help on it.

For anyone else, just PM me if you would like to make a Varoujan. I created them, so I do not want people creating one on their own without asking me. Thank you.
