Best Gift?: For Secret Santa with my friend group, two of the people had their person accidentally revealed but the rest of the group did not want to redraw names. I took matters into my own hands XD I got them to each secretly swap with me without letting anyone know that I double swapped. Anyway, I heard my person talking over dinner about how they wanted a “spherical cow” because it was a funny physics joke. Someone else joked that “their secret Santa should take notes.” I was there, so I overheard and got her a spherical cow stuffed animal. She loves words of affirmation so I wrote her a sweet note, too. I also got her a book that had a plus sized superhero protagonist, because she likes superhero stories and representation!

Best Gift?: I made some gnomes out of socks, rice, felt, yarn, a round bead for the nose, and hot glue to hold them together. I gave them as Christmas gifts for my family a couple years ago.

The one that comes to mind is when I was younger and still counting every single penny. I found a ceramic mug and Had to get it for my mom. It was on the smaller side and had this ceramic lid to keep the heat in. I had the back of a girl/woman (I don't remember now) wearing a cape and it said something along the lines of "You're my super mom" or something like that. My mom loved it so much. I had not really started to realize until around then how much my mom did and does for our family. She really is a super hero to me.
A couple years later it got broken and she was actually really sad. I looked for Years for another one, but couldn't find one. (was tempted to try Making one, but I'm not that confident in my skills.. ^_^' )

But this year. This year I found a mug that had many different women wearing capes on it and it said "Super Mom" and had a gold colored handle and looked fancy. So I couldn't resist getting it for her. (though it might also have something to do with one of her current favorite mugs breaking going into the dishwasher recently so she needed one..) It's beautiful.
...unfortunately I hid it so well I'm not sure where it is and couldn't gift it to her for Christmas... :') So I guess it will have to be a birthday gift next march (or just a 'hey I love you Mom' gift just because gift)

All these gifts sound so sweet, I hope their recipients loved them! <3 It was hard to choose a winner, but ultimately I have to go with ruethefangirl! That's such a thoughtful gift and good thinking to switch Secret Santas with others so the surprise wasn't ruined! I hope you enjoy your kit!
