my kitty grayer*sniffle*

Postby robyn » Thu Mar 10, 2011 1:25 pm

oooooohhhhhhhhhhhhh i miss him so much!! here is the story:

oh my gosh. The morning of February 19 my cat died. He was so young, and he wasn't sick or anything. My dad heard a noise like a cat jumping off a counter. He looked back, and my cat grayer was having a seizure. My cat howled, and then stopped breathing. Then he told my mom. so then they went to my room to tell me. I totally wasn't expecting it. I have another cat that is sick, so when he told me he heard a cat jumping, I expected it to be my other cat, sophie, because she is old and sick. But it wasn't. It was grayer. I have been crying ever since. I am still crying now, as I tyoe this message.
does anybody else have a pet that you loved not with you? Post their name, type of animal, breed, and mabey a little bit about them. If possible, maybe a pic. Example:

grayer. He was a cat, but unknown breed, because his mom was a stray. He was such a sweet cat. He would sit on the table when I ate my cereal, and as soon as I put my spoon down, he would plunge his mouth into my milk. He will be missed. Alot. And when I say alot, I mean ALOT. I love you grayer.

Your picture looks really pretty. I had a Calico cat named Maggie that had been living with my family since I was a baby who we had to put down a few years ago because she was in pain and very old. I also had another calico cat named Cassy who got hit by a car at a very young age just after she second littler of kittens luckily the kittens were okay and I even named the only calico kitten she had Callie because it is very similar to Cassy. Callie ran away and may come back some day (I've seen one of our cats do that before) but now I only have one of Cassy's kittens Smokey, a gray and white tabby who I love very much.

I am so sorry for you. My beloved dog died on February 13. His name was Oliver. He was a puli. He was with me for almost my whole life. He was only one year younger than me. I miss him so much. I even miss the clicking of his claws on our wood floor and the stench of his fur. I miss saying I love you and him replying "I wuv woo" back. Its been really hard. He died of a lung disease that my grandfather had died of only a few months earlier. I'm not sure if there is such a thing as heaven but I like to picture Oliver playing with my grandmother's (other side of the family) dog, who died from the same disease a week later. It wasn't even a disease that was contagous. I'm really sensitive right now and have broke out crying a lot at weird times. I still talk to Oliver sometimes. It comforts me.

Ohh, so sad.
We had a boxer named CJ. I don't remember him because he died when I was a baby. My parents were talking and CJ started to moan. They took him to the hospital and the vet said he had a leg toumer.that night he was put down. Sniff sniff.

oh your guys stories are sad too. Oh, blackwater45, I had a boxer too, and he got put down because of a brain tumor. Boxers are the most common dogs to get tumors.
hedgehog101, I talk to grayer sometimes too.
oh, I forgot to add, my old and sick cat, sophie, died on the same day, but she got put down.
the only good news is that I am getting 2 kittens soon! :D

:( I'm so sorry about your cat. A couple years ago, on September 13, my amazing Norwegian Elk Hound, Berit, was put down. She was half blind and deaf, and 13 years old. She was the absolute most sweetest dog ever. I miss her so much. I have a picture of her in my room, but I don't really know if that helps or not. :( I do have another dog now, a puppy named Zoe. She's a pughuahua (a pug and chihuahua) and just won't ever shut up! But that's just how it goes, right? :) I love my puppy a bunch :)

I feel sorry for your loss. And he was so young too..

Last year we had to put my dog named tucker down. He was 16 or 17 and we had rescued him from a trash can at my mom's old work when he was a puppy. He had been with me since I was born and he would follow me around in our old yard and lick my feet and when I would go somewhere I wasn't supposed to he would bak at my mom who would be gardening. He was full deaf in both ears and could bearly walk. He also had some kind of lumps of something under his skin in his ears. Miss you old buddy. I sometimes find myself talking to him too.....:'(

It is so sad when something like that happens. I just lost my hedgehog, Thistle. She'd been my little baby since around when I was in second grade. When I lost her to bone cancer in her jaw 5 years later, I was devistated.
Also, previous to that, I had lost two rescue hedgehogs(long story, they just could not find homes for all the babies) that had sort of become Thistle's younger sisters.
Their names were Sabra(which is a kind of prickly yet sweet cactus) and Morgan. They were two sisters who were total opposites.
Brief description of Sabra: sweet, NEVER raised her quills, loved to be held, unhealthy, not what you would call in a fit physical state,
Brief description of Morgan: mad, quills always in every which direction, incredibly healthy, loved to run, could have been a mountain goat, fit
I loved them both so much. When my dad saw one of them died while I was at school, he assumingly told me it was poor, unhealthy Sabra. When I went up there, I realized instantly it was Morgan. She looked so peaceful. We think she might have choked, but she seemed to have died in her sleep. As if incomplete without her sister, Sabra died of Wobbily Hedgehog Syndrome (the hedgehog form of ALS) about a week and a half later. Though I only had them for 10 monthes (they had had a previous owner who loved them but gave them to us, knowing we had the time to care for them) I'll miss them forever. I still wish I could have given Morgan a life in the wild, had it only been possible.

It's been a year since Oliver died, and I now have a sweet puppy named Tzitzit. She could never replace him, but she has been great and I think she has helped to heal that empty space Oliver left behind in my family's hearts.
