The first time that Ezra saw 'Spirit', he didn't really watch it. The movie was playing as part of the house's movie night, and Ezra was more interested in napping by the fire at the time. But when they rewatched it a few months later, Ezra really paid attention.
The theme of being pulled away from your family really spoke to him. Ezra hadn't always been a show dog. He used to be a house pet to a family with children, but the family gave him up after going through some financial hardships. Just as Spirit found himself in a world of humans that he didn't quite understand, Ezra had been thrown into the world of competitions and training. Ezra saw himself in Spirit, and admired the horse's fight to get home.
Just like Spirit, Ezra would one day find his way back to a world that he could understand and trust. He's since grown to enjoy the company of his pack and the trainers, but he still wishes to find the right person to take him back to that familiar life.

The familiar sounds wash over him, and he gets up from his spot to watch the screen, to get closer; he even leaves his favorite spot by the fire to watch the screen. The humans coo at him, encouraging his closeness, and while he glances at them in adoration, his eyes drift back to the screen, waiting.

Zootopia has just started, and Viper is waiting for his favorite part. He enjoyed watching the animals on the screen, but most movies weren't interesting to him. Once Judy and Nick got to the Cliffside Asylum, the wolves come into view. Viper stands, tail wagging, watching intensely as the first wolf sticks his head in the air to respond to a howl. Viper lets out a soft huff, excited as the other howling starts. He joins in softly, a lyrical howl that doesn't hurt his human's ears.

Viper's favorite movie is Zootopia purely for the wolf howling scene. He loves to join in with howls, and he loves to hear the sound of laughter from his friends or family that ensue when he does.

Prompt: Pharasma favorite movie is The corpse bride! She loves to see those skeletons moving and dancing around with all that happy music despite being dead, giving it a new point of view! And the despite she doesn't fully understand human words, the message for her is clear: there was a clear message of maturity, sacrifice and love. Pharasma howls every time she hears "Tears to shed", as she can feel how the sadness involves her heart. As the corpse bride frees herself from this self-imposed curse, what catches Pharasma is the message of being who she is and not fall under the pressure of what society or others want from you. You are who you are, beautiful as you are, and you don't need to follow others' rules to be something, as love never dies and is the strongest force ever, despite the death of a beloved one.

His show name references the song "I Know The End" by Phoebe Bridgers, which leans heavily upon an apocalyptic theme (to me, at least) and the best way I can explain how I chose that is by looking at this collie's wide and intelligent eyes; he looks as if he knows things that have not happened yet, such as the end of the world.

Prompt: Thanatos' favorite movie is Guillermo del Toro's "Pan's Labyrinth", a horror/drama about a young girl living in Spain alongside her pregnant mother and sadistic army stepfather. When a mythical being tells her that she's a princess of the Underworld, she agrees to undergo three very dangerous trials to prove herself. Every time he watches this movie, Thanatos is awestruck over and over again by the costume/creature designs, the intricate set designs, and the atmosphere of each scene involving the trials. No matter how many times he's seen it, he never fails to be unnerved by the Pale Man, a creature with a rightfully-disturbing appearance. Overall, he recommends the film for anyone who is a fan of creature features, or just any horror in particular! (PSA: This movie is not for pups!)
