Horus sat around, he had been pretty bored as of recently. No one really was in the best Halloween spirit (at least to him). So why not bring it back…with a little messing around? I mean, he had been floating in space for a while..and that’s pretty boring isn’t it? Horus approached earth going to it at a steady pace. He didn’t want to alert anyone just yet. They got down where he could at least be in the clouds. He just had to time this right..

Conch flew beside Cyrus. “Conch, we fly almost everyday to make sure no one is a danger to us, and we have never found anything. Not only that but we have other guards. Why do we need to do this?”

“Well, once we gain more people in our community we can take turns and cycle through people to watch out.” Cyrus let out a grunt. “Good. I’m sick and tired of going out here and finding nothing. Why can’t something happen?” Horus had noticed them speaking. He floated there, focusing all their energy and was now some sort of growing green orb. He floated backwards for a second, and flew towards the two.

“Cyrus…” he had noticed Conch saying his name he looked to where he was looking and lunged at him. Pushing him away from the speeding orb heading towards them. He held on to him. Staying in the same place, flapping his wings. The two looked at each other. “Well Cyrus, looks like you got your wish.”

This story was heavily inspired by the strange green orb sightings back in 1948!

Castellan was always jealous of his parents, who were accomplished pokemon but never appreciated his work. He looked after himself on his own and lived with friends for most of his early years. He envied them, they never looked for him after he left. So he started scaring, every person he scared he imagined his parents. It thrilled him, every night he went out spooking kids and adults alike, it made him happy and content in life.

Quite recently, a rumour has been spearing amongst treasure hunters and travellers. Word of an ancient mansion, filled with invaluable objects that have sat untouched for who-knows-how-long, hidden in the depths of a dark forest.
More than one has sought it out, trying their luck to see if the legends are true. And so far, one has succeeded in stealing something from it.

And to the inhabitants of said mansion, that is big, big giant issue. Ghosts and spirits who call the manor their home have no care for any of its treasures, but they can't stand for intruders trying to break in, or worse even, damage the ghosts' home in their greedy search for valuables.

So Gummy, once a spirit that only spend her time sleeping, decided to step up to keep the manor safe.

Going out into the woods, chasing out every stranger they find, shouting threats and appearing from the shadows to give them the fright of their lives, she's determined to make sure no one ever finds the manor again, and the best way to fight tales of grand treasure is with tales of terrifying ghosts.

“Alright guys, just like we rehearsed. Alright?”
“O-Okay Mister Bones…!”

Just because a person does bad things doesn’t mean they’re inherently a bad person. That sentiment was kept close to heart as the terrified cries of pokemon went through the caverns and several could be seen fleeing the cavern’s entrance at light-speed. As their fear caused them to run away, so too did it increase the amount of light in the cavern as several tiny, struggling Litwicks managed to find a source of food through the negative emotions.

A weary Misdreavus smiled appreciatively at the Cosmog as she fed off of the fear that was left behind. It wasn’t that Bones ever really wanted to use his appearance or skills to scare the daylights out of people. He just simply couldn’t allow his fellow pokemon to continue to go on without food though-- and he was well suited to the job of getting them the fear they would need to continue living out here in the wilds like this.

Of course, word spread like wildfire about the cavern in the mountains that none dared enter for fear of their lives. Of the pictures of a skeleton that lit up on the walls and grew bigger with ominous music… but that was okay. It just meant that Bones had to help the little Litwicks and their Misdreavus friend move locations, and they’d set up shop again.

He wasn’t going to let them down. He’d teach them how to scare people real good, and once they were healthy again…well. He was sure there were many other ghost pokemon simply waiting on someone like him to teach them how to scare. Bones just hoped that for every person he managed to terrify, there would be one ghost pokemon that continued to thrive out here in the woods.
