I saw these templates on Pinterest so I tried making them and they turned out really cute, but i didnt have any stuffing so I stuffed them with dried corn instead. what I then found was that felt was probably the best material to make them with, although it did end up slightly tearing at the sides it wasnt too difficult to fix.
also the lines at the top and bottom of the templates is for where you stop stitching and then start on the other side. Then once both the left and right side are stitched one can then stitch the two sides together at the top. It is important that when stitching this altogether you have it inside out, that way when you've finished stitching it you dont have all of the knots on the outside of your frog.
when stitching it together one should leave a hole at the back so then when youre done stitching most of it, you can then turn it the right way around and fill it with corn, beans or just stuffing. after that stitch the butt end up so then it is able to contain whatever you put in.
when it comes to putting on eyes one needs to do it before stitching the frog together, one could also just go and draw them on with a sharpie afterwards. When I did the eyes I used a french knot which was able to make them evenly sized.
Altogether, it took less than an hour to make and it was really fun also. the sides of the frogs are about 7.26cm or 3 inch and the belly is 6.8cm or 2.67inch. Whilst stitching one may find that the sides dont match up with the belly in shape but i found that turning it some while stitching made it somewhat similar.
heres a picture of how they are meant to turn out that i found on pinterest
