- Alani Azahar is the name given to the serpentine-like dog, evidenced from their glimmering orange scales and little forked tongue that expertly picks out the best oranges in the orchard.
Having been born into a family of Orange harvesters - where they get their surnames from, meaning "orange blossom" - Alani was deigned a name that meant, purely, "orange". Whether that refers to the tree, or the fruit, is anyone's guess.
Alani spends their days out in the blistering sun, cultivating their oranges and making a whole manner of products, from juices to marmalades to zest. Though it may seem tedious to some, to them, this is where they are most happiest.
have been dying to make an "orange orchard" inspired dressup, and when I saw this month's dressup themes I knew it was time! I'd love to get more trees and oranges so I can make this dressup even more intricate, but for now, here we are! <3
