[Error]

On this image done of Avian: Clickie here!
I got comments on how the details of the fur looked nice, so I decided to show off how I make the fur:

Step 1
Make the base color and save it for you will need it again later.

Step 2
Using a size 3 pixel, square brush take a color darker than the base and scribble in the direction of the hair.
It helps to use lock alpha so that you don't have to deal with going outside the lines.

Step 3
Do the same as Step 2 only with a darker color.

Step 4
Now use a color lighter than the base (that's why you need it, so that you can jump back to it and make a lighter color ^^;)
Use a 1 pixel, square brush and make small scribbles like circles.

Step 5
Is the same as Step 4 only with a lighter color. This is optional.

With darker based coats do not use Step 4 and Step 5.
