GUESs who got their cattails wildwood story alpha key and spent 5 hours straight playing without processing any passage of time!! i need. to go to bed </3 but first i wanted to draw my player character!! this is a super rough pass of her design but her name is dewey, short for dewritos, and shes the lady of the radiant kinship <3 despite her memey name, shes not very memey herself, and im taking it pretty seriously, lol. the rundown of the lore is that shes the daughter of my first and main character from the first game, pickles, and their mate arthur! she's from one of their later litters, not the one they have in game, and mainly the name she made for herself was as the daughter of these two powerful warriors (one of whom being a colony leader themself) who had great potential, and so she was able to rally cats to bring with her to the wildwood under her leadership. she feels the need to prove herself as her own cat and not just the legacy of her parents, who set out with a different group to settle in different lands, as with the rest of her siblings. her parent, pickles, used to be apart of the mountain domain, and had been incredibly close with jag before setting out to found their own colony, which formed a giant rift between the two as jag saw it as a betrayal of their trust and friendship. though its been years, the two had drifted apart so far at this point that they barely interacted outside of brief acknowledgement, even at festivals. however, with the destruction of their home, jag noticed pickles youngest daughter boldly proclaiming that she was going to lead her own group to form a new colony. though when asked he excuses it, even to himself, as it just seeming like a strong group of cats (after all, notable fighter talon and renowned healer krampy both were part of the group), but truth be told, he wanted to keep an eye on her to make sure she stayed safe, to try to make up for how quickly he'd estranged his closest friend all those years ago. dewey herself has heard of jag from her parents stories of the mountain domain, but nothing in depth, as its an uncomfortable memory for pickles. her eldest siblings were very young when they'd left the mountain domain, but sometimes they note early memories of a kind fawn-colored tom coming to their den to watch them and play with them while their parents went out hunting.

far from her family, dewey is ready to create her own legacy. though truth be told, some of the cats have initially come off as grating to her, she's doing everything she can to be the best leader she can be, and has already managed to get some of the prickliest members to warm up to her as their first season in the wildwood comes to an end... jag, however, maintains a safe distance, not wanting to get too attached or show any special fondness for the new leader.

SO YEAH thats the lore i have so far! im really unsure who im going to romance atm, and really the only two cats im still not at 4 stars with are jag and garlic (took me way too long to figure out what gifts they like oops). jag obviously is off the table, i feel like krampy, talon, coco, and ember are all too old for her (i imagine shes still quite young, all things considered. shes still full grown, but maybe just a year or two past her kitten/teenhood maximum. i really like spark but elis really grown on me and i think shes cute, charolette looks super cool and i like the contrast she has with dewey while still imaging that they get along, but part of me really has a "i can fix them," complex with garlic DSLJSD. lainey and fliss are both fun options too, i think glimmer could be neat to romance, and i find champ pretty amusing and think it would be fun to imagine him trying to settle down. really the only other option besides the off the table ones that im not considering at all is phantom- he just really doesnt interest me, tbh.)

i doubt anyone has read this far bcs im rlly just rambling at this point, but if anyone has any suggestions for who to romance, lmk!

ANYWAYS enough about me uh you should probably do Elis or Charlotte!! it sounds like they really fit the story you have going and that you just like them in general :]

cattails wildwood story is the name of the sequel!! i bought early access to get to play the alpha when it dropped and it finally did nil is a good choice,,, and oh no :sob: nil honey

i think i might go with eli,,, i still love all the other options and im not entirely certain but i do adore her

WHAT THATS SO COOL SEQUEL???!? im so excited oijwfeoj might look at that today :0000 Nil is just,, small brain i tried like 3 more times and he keeps saying no like Nil i- i dont know what to do with you

maybe you should wait a bit!!! explore your options some more :D
