Description
A cream mackerel "pseudo-tabby" tom, with long, shaggy fur. He has concerned, golden eyes and fluffy ears.

From kithood, Hornetleaf always took a serious interest in the medicine cat of Rockclan. He was the only kit born in his litter but his mother was relieved to not have so many kits to care for. Hornetleaf's mother was the medicine cat of Rockclan and was a rather old female that had fallen for Hornetleaf's father in her old age. The she-cat refused to give up her duties as medicine cat and worked herself to the bone to pay penance for having a kit despite the warrior code. Hornetleaf wasn't raised in the nursery, but instead, the medicine cat den. Here, he learned how to care for other cats. His mother taught him well and after her passing, he was well equipped to take over for her as Rockclan medicine cat.

Hornetleaf is a highly intelligent medicine cat that always seems to have the answers. He is incredibly efficient with his work but struggles with other facets of life. He is very friendly, often hanging around his clanmates but he struggles to communicate with other cats. He is often silent unless the topic revolves around medicine or herbs. He hates being alone but is often embarrassed to be around other cats because he stumbles on his words.
