Munchies are mystical pygmy deer that are born whenever a wizard cooks something and mana feeds into the dish. They can be born from dishes familiar to us or from a 1,000 year old wizards family cook book. Though it is rare for Munchies or a Munchy to wield magic outside of conjuring their respective dish at will it is not unheard of however these Munchies tend to not look like the standard munchie either. Munchies also often come with accessories and are quite the fashionable creature, their dishes are also often just as dazzling and possibly inedible. Munchies are the only sustainable food source that doesn't require the flesh or product of an animal to produce a meal including it thus, there's no need to feel guilty if you happen across a Munchie with such items in it's dish.

I don't remember where I saw this trope being used, but the princess was the captain of some squad in her kingdom, and although she didn't identify as male, preferred the knights under her to call her Sir so her enemies wouldn't take her lightly so that's why she is referred to as "Sir"
