name: Hypnos (And the tail is named Hadi)
prompt: Named after the Greek God of sleep, Hypnos's personality certainly suits his name, as he is constantly falling asleep at any chance available. He seems to have a strange addiction to getting "beauty sleep" so he can be even more dashing than he is now, and often gets into trouble by taking a nap during important occasions. This is where his trusty, sentient tail Hadi comes into play, whacking Hypnos awake with as much force a voluminous pile of fluff can muster. Hadi doesn't have a mouth, and cannot convey its thoughts to Hypnos, but the keldine can easily tell his own tail's mood. When sharing this to other keldines, Hypnos receives more than a few strange glances, but doesn't see why nobody can understand the close relationship he shares with his tail. Nobody else can even tell what Hadi is feeling, but are able to tell that Hypnos cares very much about his fluffy companion, and that feeling is (if a tail could possibly have feelings) probably reciprocated.
summary Basically Hypnos likes to sleep and Hadi is like the mom friend who wakes Hypnos up by slapping him in the face
