Eventually, an older gentleman had come in and had been carefully peeking at each dog over the rim of his glasses. Reading their info and histories; taking his time.
Eventually he ended up in front of Cruz and immediately told the worker he want him.
It was your typical happily ever after, but Cruz's favorite part about his happy ending was the car rides. His person had named him after taking a cruise, since it happened to be their favorite way of bonding.

Every since Chewie was little his howl was always a little different. Many say it resembled the sound Chewbacca made and after the distinction many could not unhear it. Soon he was promptly named Chewie after the famous character. He had a personality to fit with mentioned name. A loyal and quiet dog he rarely leaves his handlers side. At times he will try to brute force his way through things or growl and yip trying to gain anyone's attention. He soon became a big hit at costume party's as his handler dressed as Han Solo whilst he got the role of Chewbacca. Chewie had many adoring fans who'd visit and bring him gifts and treats.
