General Info:
Resident of Eerolunas (my created planet), cattri are an uncommon sight to see. The most obvious and unusual characteristic about them is their "tentacles". These thick membranes contain bundles and bundles of sensitive nerve cells. The two tentacles in the back of the cattrix are vital in helping it understand the surroundings behind it while the four on their paws help them feel what is in front of them. Like an octopus, each of the tentacles has their own "brain" and they are very prehensile. The colors of the tentacles range from reds, to blues, yellows, or greens with hues that can be light or dark. Most cattri have only one color shade tentacle, in rare cases cattri can have two different colored tentacles but this can only happen if a genetic mutation is present. In very rare cases, the tentacles can be shades of white or black. (Unless you order white/black or you have "special privileges", you cannot get one. The only time you can get one that isn't from payment is on the off chance that one is up for adoption.)
With large ears and a flexible, stealthy body, they are quite amazing nocturnal hunters, but surprisingly they can't see. Rather than using their eyes for sight, they "see" everything in infrared. This is because of the raised crystal within their forehead that allows the brain collect the images from there instead of their actual eyes. The eyes are instead used to attract mates. The brighter the glow within the eyes, the more healthy the cattrix is and the more likely it will end up having a mate. The eyes can even glow in the dark.
Male cattri have what resembles tiger stripes running down their tail that gets darker at the tips. Females do not have tiger stripes. Coat colors are neutral. The tentacles, eyes, and eye crystal are all the same color (with different hues). Cattri do not usually have markings.
