X3 Ice's father, Raccoon (spell fail?), often called Coon.
I padded through the familiar forest that I'd lived in during my younger years, back when I still belonged to the pack...back when I had been framed for a crime not committed by me. I sniffed at the air around me, though any scents there were muffled by the thick fog beginning to rise, the mist-like substance winding around the trunks of the trees like some kind of ominious warnings. 'What if they smeel me...what if they know I'm here?' the thought clouded my mind like a hurricane. That was when I remembered...a runner had delivered me a message saying I had been allowed a week-long visit to my old pack so that I could see how much better off my pups were...it was a cruel letter written by my former mate, Cherry, though the written markings were soft and I guessed that she had only wroten like that because if she hadn't she would be accused of liking an outsider...an exile.
Taking a deep breath to calm my rattling nerves I padded forward, my steps still cautious. I came to a sudden stop as I reached the small cliff that allowed a view over to the other side, the side on which my pack lived. I could see that there was a small fire going that chased away the fog on the opposite side on which I was standing...I guessed that the pack's elder, Robin, my mother-in-law, had been the one to make it. For some reason I stayed where I was, my ice-blue eyes gazing through the fog that wreathed around me in an attempt to pick out familiar fur colors and patterns here and there....though I had been invited to visit I had a feeling something bad was going to happen...
